Our work involves routinely handling confidential and sensitive personal information, including health records and other sensitive information.

We will generally communicate with you through the email address you have provided unless you tell us differently.

As of 17 January 2022 we have moved to Microsoft 365 email. This enhances our email security and removes the need for us to use Egress to encrypt our correspondence. We hope that this move will address the feedback from many of the bodies in our jurisdiction and individual complainants who often found it difficult to use Egress in communication with us.

If we correspond with you by email, then we will send any confidential or sensitive personal information to you using encrypted secure email via Microsoft 365 email.  This is necessary to protect the content of the material.  You can access the encrypted email automatically if you have a Microsoft Office 365 account. If you do not already have a Microsoft Office 365 account, you can access the encrypted email by selecting the ‘sign in with a one-time passcode’ option when you open the email. This one time passcode will be emailed to you which you can then use to access the email.
