Llanfairtalhaiarn Community Council
Mrs D complained to the Ombudsman regarding issues with Llanfairtalhaiarn Community Council not maintaining up to date public records of Community Council meeting minutes and agendas. Mrs D was unhappy that she had complained to the Community Council previously but had not received a sufficient response.

The Ombudsman sought and gained the Community Council’s agreement to provide Mrs X with an apology, an appropriate complaint response and electronic copies of all minutes and agendas for Community Council meetings held in 2021 and 2022, as well as update the Community Council website with an apology for the lack of meeting minutes content and estimated timescale of availability, within 20 working days. The Ombudsman also gained the Community Council’s agreement to update the supporting technology for the Community Council website and ensure all meeting minutes and agendas are displayed correctly, within three months.
