Early resolution

Mr X complained that the Council did not respond to his complaint about dangerous parking.

The Ombudsman contacted the Council, and it agreed to provide a response to Mr X’s complaint by 14 October 2022. It also agreed to apologise to Mr X for the delay its response.

The Ombudsman considered this to be a sufficient resolution as an alternative to investigating the complaint.
