Mr T complained that Bro Myrddin Housing Association failed to undertake the necessary outside work for which he pays a service charge.
The Ombudsman found that whilst the Housing Association had attended a meeting with Mr T following his complaint, it had not provided a written complaint response. She said that this caused frustration and uncertainty to Mr T. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Housing Association’s agreement to write to Mr T with an apology and explanation for the oversight and to issue a complaint response within one week.
