Mrs F complained that despite raising concerns with the Vale of Glamorgan Council, it refused to acknowledge or respond.

The Ombudsman decided that the Council failed to follow the statutory complaints procedure and caused Mrs F frustration.

As an alternative to an investigation, the Ombudsman sought and gained the Councils agreement to apologise to Mrs F for the delays in responding to her concerns and issue a full response within 30 working days.
