Mr X complained that the Association failed to soundproof his neighbour’s property which has been causing issues with noise nuisance.
The Ombudsman was concerned that Mr X had not received an explanation for the Associations decision and contacted the Association. As an alternative to an investigation, the Association agreed to provide Mr X with a written explanation for their decision by 30 June 2022. The Ombudsman accepted the as a resolution of Mr X’s complaint.
