Mr X complained that he had not received a date for a meeting with the Trust regarding his outstanding concerns about the delay in an ambulance attending to his late mother.
The Ombudsman found that although the Trust had explained the reasons for the delay, the Trust had not set a date for a meeting with Mr X.
The Trust agreed to make the necessary arrangements to hold a meeting to discuss Mr X’s outstanding concerns within 4 weeks, as an alternative to the Ombudsman investigating it.
