Mr X complained that he had not received a response to his complaint 7 months after raising his concerns, despite the Health Board’s target being 30 days.
The Ombudsman was concerned about the length of time the Health Board was taking to conclude its investigation and therefore contacted it to discuss those concerns. The Health Board explained that it was coming to an end of the investigation and agreed to finalise and issue its response no later than 4 August 2022. The Ombudsman is satisfied with the action the Health Board has agreed to undertake.
