Swansea Bay University Health Board
Mr P complained that Swansea Bay University Health Board failed to provide a response to his complaint.
The Ombudsman found that whilst the Health Board had responded to Mr P’s initial enquiry it had not provided a response to his second email. She said that this caused frustration and uncertainty to Mr P. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to provide an apology and explanation to Mr P for this oversight and issue a response within 1 week.
