Swansea Bay University Health Board
Mr X complained to Swansea Bay University Health Board about his attendance, with his daughter, at Morriston Hospital on 21 April 2018.
The Ombudsman found that the complaint response provided by the Health Board did not fully address the issues raised by Mr X and was largely concerned with Mr X’s attendance to another hospital on 15 April 2018.
The Ombudsman contacted the Health Board, and it agreed to,
within 10 working days:
Provide written confirmation to Mr X that his complaint about his attendance at Morriston Hospital on 21 April 2018 would be fully investigated, with all aspects of his complaint addressed, and a response provided in accordance with The National Health Service (Concerns, Complaints and Redress Arrangements) (Wales) Regulations 2011.
The Ombudsman was satisfied that this would provide a resolution to the issues considered in this complaint.
