Ms X complained that she encountered delays in receiving a response from the Health Board, and that the Health Board had yet to respond to her formal complaint.
The Ombudsman was concerned that Ms X had yet to receive a response to her concerns and contact the Health Board. As an alternative to an investigation, the Health Board agreed to provide Ms X with an apology for the delays in responding to her concerns by 30 June 2022, and to issue her with a formal response by 29 July 2022. The Ombudsman accepted this as a resolution of Ms X’s complaint.
