Mr D complained that Hywel Dda University Health Board failed to respond to further questions following its complaint response, on18 November 2023.
The Ombudsman found that there had been a significant delay answering Mr D’s additional questions. This caused frustration and uncertainty for Mr D. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman gained the Health Board’s agreement to write to Mr D, within 6 weeks, answering his questions and apologising for the delay.
