Mrs M complained that Hywel Dda University Health Boardfailed to respond to her complaint, which she made to it in May 2023.
The Ombudsman found that the Health Board had been unable toconclude its investigation due to pressures on its staff. She said this caused additional frustrationto Mrs M. She decided to settle thecomplaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman that the Health Board would apologise directly to Mrs M and issue its complaint response within 20 working days.
