Following its response to her complaint, Ms X complained that she had not received a further response from the Health Board in relation to her additional concerns regarding the care provided to her late mother whilst she was in hospital.
The Ombudsman found that the Health Board had failed to provide a response to Ms X’s additional concerns. The Health Board agreed to complete the following in settlement of Ms X’s complaint, by 12 August 2022, as an alternative to the Ombudsman investigating it:
a) Provide Ms X with an apology for the delay in providing a response to Ms X’s additional concerns
b) Provide a complaint response.
