Ms B complained that the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board failed to respond to the concerns she raised in her complaint in June 2025.

The Ombudsman found that the Health Board’s response did not address the concerns raised by Ms B. She said this caused uncertainty and frustration for Ms B. The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.

The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to, within 6 weeks, offer an apology to Ms B for failing to address her concerns and issue a further complaint response addressing the concerns raised.
