Ms A complained that her late father had acquired COVID-19 during his admission to Royal Gwent Hospital.
The Ombudsman was concerned that the complaint had not been considered under the NHS Wales National Framework, established to consider complaints about hospital acquired COVID-19 infections.
She sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to consider the complaint under the National Framework.
