Mrs X complained about the delay in the Health Board providing her with a further response to address her outstanding concerns in relation to her late father’s care and treatment.

The Ombudsman decided that the Health Board should provide Mrs X with a further full written response (within 4 weeks) to address her outstanding concerns, which letter should include an explanation and an apology for the delay.

The Ombudsman considered this to be an appropriate resolution to the complaint.
