Mrs A complained that a GP Surgery in the area of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board had not responded to a complaint, submitted to it in January 2022.
The Ombudsman found that although the Surgery had apologised to Mrs A and provided an explanation for the delay, it had not provided her with a formal response to her complaint.
The Ombudsman contacted the Surgery and in resolution of Mrs A’s complaint it agreed to, within 20 working days, provide her with a full written response to her complaint.
