Mr M complained that Carmarthenshire County Council failed to respond to a complaint he had submitted in March about a planning application.
The Ombudsman found that the Council had failed to respond to Mr M’s complaint. She said that this caused inconvenience and frustration to Mr M. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Council’s agreement to apologise to Mr M for failing to respond to his complaint and provide him with a complaint response within 4 weeks.
