Ms H complained that Cyngor Gwynedd failed to respond to the complaint she submitted in August 2023.

The Ombudsman found there had been a significant delay in processing the investigation. She said this caused additional frustration for Ms H.

She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation. The Ombudsman sought and gained the Council’s agreement to conclude its investigation and issue its complaint response within 3 weeks.
