Mr W complained about the treatment he had received when he attended hospital with suspected sepsis. He said that he had complained to Swansea Bay University Health Board (“the Heath Board”) regarding this but that it had not fully addressed all of his concerns.
The Ombudsman found that, whilst the Health Board had issued a complaint response to Mr W, further queries had since been raised which had not yet been addressed.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to, within 1 month, issue a further response to Mr W addressing his concerns.
