Dr P complained that Hywel Dda University Health Board failed to respond to the complaints he submitted in June 2023.
The Ombudsman decided that there had been a delay by the Health Board to respond to the complaint and this had caused inconvenience and frustration for Dr P. The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to apologise to Dr P and issue the complaint response within 30 working days.
