Mrs A complained about the management and care provided to her late father, Mr B, at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board’s Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The investigation focused on whether the diagnosis and treatment of Mr B’s sepsis was timely and appropriate.
The investigation found that Mr B’s diagnosis and treatment for sepsis was timely and appropriate. There was also no evidence to suggest there was any delay in diagnosing an infection or in providing appropriate treatment for any infections. Mrs A’s complaint was not upheld.
