Mr X complained to the Ombudsman about the care that Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (the Health Board) had provided to his late son. Mr X had complained to the Health Board in May 2020 and received a response in October 2020. However, in making his complaint to the Ombudsman, Mr X presented five specific issues of concern which were not addressed in the Health Board’s original complaint response.
Following discussions with the Ombudsman, the Health Board agreed that within 4 weeks it would provide Mr X with its responses to the five outstanding issues that he had raised with the Ombudsman.
