Mrs S complained that despite raising concerns with Isle of Anglesey County Council since 2020, she had not received an adequate complaint response.
The Ombudsman found that the Council had not acted in line with its statutory complaints procedure and failed to provide adequate updates to Mrs S. She said this caused frustration to Mrs S and decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Councils agreement to provide Mrs S with an apology for the delay, issue a complaint response, and provide Mrs S with a time and trouble payment of £50 within 30 working days.
