Ms X complained that she was encountering concerns with her mental health team and that although she has put complaints forward to the Health Board, she is yet to receive a response.
The Ombudsman was concerned that Ms X had yet to receive a response from the Health Board and therefore contacted the Health Board for further information. As an alternative to an investigation, the Health Board agreed that it would issue Ms X with an apology in responding to her concerns by 30 July 2022. The Health Board also confirmed that it would issue Ms X with a formal response to her concerns by 26 August 2022. The Ombudsman accepted this as a resolution to Ms X’s complaint.
