Ms A complained that Swansea Bay University Health Board failed to respond to her concerns raised in 2021, about the progression of her care and treatment, communication with her and her involvement in the planning and decision-making process.
The Ombudsman considered that aspects of Ms A’s complaint remained outstanding. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to within 30 working days, provide a complaint response for the outstanding issues.
