Mrs A complained that Cardiff and Vale University Health Board had failed to provide her with post meeting outcome letter and recording.
The Ombudsman found that the Health Board had issued its post meeting outcome letter and it had offered Mrs A an apology and explanation for the delay. However, the Health Board had failed to provide Mrs A with a copy of the meeting recording. The Ombudsman said this caused uncertainty and frustration for Mrs A. The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to, within 3 weeks, provide Mrs A with a copy of the meeting recording.
