The Ombudsman found that the Health Board had not issued a response to the concerns raised by Mr A and this caused frustration and uncertainty for Mr A.

The Ombudsman sought and gained the Health Board’s agreement to provide an apology, an explanation for the delay in responding and to issue a comprehensive complaint response to Mr A within one month.
