Mr A complained that Carmarthenshire County Council had failed to fully respond to his Social Services complaints.
The Ombudsman found that the Council had not fully addressed the complaint. The Ombudsman considered that this left Mr A with unanswered questions and decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Council’s agreement to issue a response to Mr A’s complaint, specifying what his complaint to the Council is and how it is or has been dealt with in court proceedings, within 6 weeks.
