Mr A complained that Carmarthenshire County Council failed to respond to the complaint he made to it in April 2025.
The Ombudsman found that the Council had failed to log Mr A’s complaint, causing frustration to him. The Ombudsman decided to settle the complaint without a formal investigation.
The Ombudsman sought and gained the Council’s agreement to apologise to Mr A for failing to log his complaint, to explain the reasons for this failure, and to issue a Stage 2 complaint response to him within 4 weeks.
