Mr A complained that the dental practice did not fully respond to his formal complaint submitted to it in October 2024.

The Ombudsman decided that the dental practice had failed to respond to a second letter of complaint from Mr A. She decided to settle the complaint without an investigation.

The Ombudsman sought and gained the agreement of the dental practice to respond to Mr A’s second letter of complaint and apologise for the delay in responding fully. The dental practice agreed to do this within one month of the Ombudsman’s decision.
