Advisory Panel Independent Member
The Ombudsman is seeking to appoint an independent member to the Advisory Panel.
This is a key appointment to underpin excellent governance. The successful candidate must be committed to the provision of high quality public services and be able to provide support and challenge to the Ombudsman. Applicants should have experience of operating at a senior strategic level, with good communication and interpersonal skills as well as knowledge of public service delivery within the Welsh context. We particularly welcome applications from women and people from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds who are currently under-represented on our Panel.
The Advisory Panel meets on a quarterly basis. Remuneration is paid on a daily rate of £282. Reasonable travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed.
